The short version
A service fee is what Atmosglide charges for the work of finding, holding and ticketing your itinerary. It is separate from the airline's fare and from any taxes or carrier-imposed charges. You will always be told the exact amount before you are asked to pay anything, and you are free to decline the quote at that point.
We do not add a fee for simply calling us, asking a question, or receiving a quote. Fees apply only when you decide to go ahead and we issue a ticket.
Standard service fees
Charged per passenger, per ticket, in USD. Where a range is shown, the exact figure depends on how complex the itinerary is to build and ticket.
| Booking type | Applies to | Fee |
|---|---|---|
| Domestic flights | Within the United States | $25 – $50 |
| International flights | Economy and premium economy | $40 – $75 |
| Business and first class | Any route, any carrier | $75 – $150 |
| Multi-city and open-jaw | Itineraries with three or more segments | $60 – $120 |
| Group bookings | Five or more passengers on one itinerary | Quoted per booking |
| Unaccompanied minors | Includes airline paperwork handling | $50 – $90 |
When a higher fee applies
Some bookings take materially more of an agent's time, and are quoted at the upper end of the range above or priced individually. These include:
- Itineraries combining several airlines that do not have a ticketing agreement with one another.
- Routes where we have to build the fare across separate tickets to reach a workable price.
- Bookings involving special assistance, medical equipment, or travelling with pets.
- Departures inside 48 hours, where ticketing has to be completed immediately.
- Bookings that require manual verification because the payment or contact details carry a higher fraud risk.
What the fee covers
- Searching published, contract and consolidator fares across our carrier network.
- Checking alternative dates, nearby airports and routings for a lower total price.
- Reading you the fare rules — baggage, changes, cancellation — before you commit.
- Issuing the ticket and sending your confirmation and e-ticket by email.
- Holding your booking on file so a named agent can pick it up if you call back.
What the fee does not cover
- Airline penalties for changing or cancelling a ticket after it is issued.
- Our own post-ticketing charges — see post-ticketing fees.
- Optional extras bought from the airline, such as seat selection, extra baggage or lounge access.
- Visas, travel insurance, or any government charge collected at the airport.
Refunds of the service fee
The service fee pays for work already completed, so it is non-refundable once your ticket has been issued — including where the airline itself later refunds the fare. If we are unable to issue the ticket you agreed to, or we cancel the booking ourselves, the service fee is returned in full. Full detail is on our cancellation and refund page.
Questions before you book
Ask the agent to state the service fee separately from the fare before you pay. If anything on your quote is unclear, call +1 855 657 9056 or email info@atmosglide.com.
